think you'll find there are 2 dips/steps in that graph but as the scalling is so bad they dont show up too well. same as the next graph posted.

take a close look at iro 3k and 4.5k where the valves switch over.

why scale a graph upto 380 with a car pulling 200 max. if it were scalled properly the smooth graph you posted would have some large dips in it.

So find the rock you was under please until you have substantial knowledge about these cars and there idiosyncracies to put me to shame with, then i perhaps may listen.

no silly digs in this thread...

the plot you posted, saying how wonderful it is, actually has some large dips if it were scalled properly. which considering you have a rollers should have been obvious.

the helpful post is dont listen you someone who thinks they know everything when they clearly dont.

try taking a proper look at roverdaves graph, the 'slow' transition your pointing at takes 200rpm and covers 5lb/ft. the first dip in your amazing plot is over 10lb/ft and takes 500 rpm.

lol, if they can read a graph then is pretty easy to see.

reidy can change the vis activation points, thats why the dip has moved.

there is nothing wrong with those vis valves.

im sorry to high jack the post but its something iv been looking into having done without spending a fortune,all i want to know is A - will a re-map increase performance on the road ( im not bothered about mpg) and 2 - which has better bang for bucks ,a generic done outside the office or travelling to someone like reidy ?

what mods have you got atm?

find a rollers near to you, get a power run done with the lambda/afr on there too. check the fuelling as it is. i dont think it will be out, certainly not far enough to need a re-map.

personally best power/£ is a set of janspeed manifolds. gave me the most out of all the mods i have.
