Then again not being able to lay power till 4th/5th in the wet will make it a complete PITA ;)
Mines like that, bet yours is too dave? You have to learn to feather that throttle. I need a quaife but they don't come cheap. What happened to the civic? O you won't get 350 from just a remap(stage 1), you will need zorst, filter, better cooler, upgraded hpfp. Stage 2 - stage 2+ will see 350-380bhp.

Dave - joker I wish it had a gt3076. Lol

I got mk5 gti, 2.0 tfsi. Had it 3-4 years now, it's got the small ko3 turbo on it not like its brothers, ed30/s3/cupraR and there ko4's. It's got full custom 3" with wrapped down pipe and Evom intake. I changed to the full alloy s3 cooler with metal end tanks over your plastic ones, along with a custom 2.5" discharge pipe. I fitted a rs4 valve last year PITA to do and also had a hpfp fail on me. Which I plan on sending to get apr to work there magic on. Im remapped stage 2 at the mo, my plan is to jump 2+ and go stage 3 with ko4 which will see around 350bhp which in a well setup car on the road will see anything off imo. Ive got dv relocated already with supersize forge. Just want pump done then turbo change. I'm on h&r spring too, nice and cheap. I've poly bushed front end and fitted WALK kit (white line anti lift kit) also got poly dog bush and insert but plan going solid as it don't stop tramping and just get some uprated side mounts. I got the usual bits like Gauge and shift light. Also me good old scan gauge is in there.

Ed - I'm on a group buy for the race logic performance box(measure some 0-60 action), real tasty pieces of kit let alone the traction control stuff. Which I have heard can be used with me standard ecu when it all gets a bit too much.

Walk or Salk is Whiteline or Superpro Anti Lift Kit. It's a bush and console that goes on the back of the front lower arm altering chamber and caster. Idea being it stops the traditional gti rear wheel cock. Discharge pipe is the one of the turbo to intercooler, don't make much difference to power just spool and maybe just some more torque. Rs4 valve is a fuel rail pressure release valve off a rs4 upgrade othe tfsi engines. And yer hpfp is high pressure fuel pump. The tfsi are based around a Diesel engine, scavenge pump in tank and high pressure on side of head pushing fuel too 138+ bar.

Injectors for my ko4 upgrade go to ko4 spec car injectors. Anymore and use rs4 items. And as for clutch yer once close to 300 it will start to slip. But only really happen when flooring it in 6th gear. Torque kills it others 1st, 2nd and 3rd ok.

We go on about bhp/ton, but that is only a a small section of who will win. That peak bhp is only there for a fraction of the time. You have to look at gearing, driveability, torque all these thinks come into affect, that is prob why the Seat won over the rs.

Dave - as for how well the Seat is tuneable, the rs are pushing over 520bhp now and 460 on standard internals. Amazing engine. Simon Snail of sitech was in time attack last year and I reckon he will do well this year if he does it again. Bo Nielsen does really well in his vxr Astra too.

Just usual checks night before. Oil levels and that. Once there reckonmend dropping tyre pressures down to about 20psi for some grip. I will have a little tyre compressor people can borrow at end of day to pump back up. Was left to me at pod one day by some short guy with a charged zs lol.

Only like pulling off from the lights when on the road. Idea is not to push yourself to hard usual the harder you try the worse time you get I find. Also it isn't just about trying to be the person next to you. Your time won't start till you leave the line.

You signed up as "Andy on Track". As in handy on track. I turned up the night before at the travelogde as soon as I pulled up on the car park they surrounded me, "are you Andy?" I was in stitches. Even a 188bhp Zs would corner better and out drag a 260bhp s2000 down the straight. Lol
