New MOT regs - DECAT issue?

Guys/gals,

Just seen this so thought I'd highlight it on here for the Decat brigade. You may just be in a spot of bother come MOT time :sad:

its only part in force at the moments comes fully in in april when the xenons ect will become fails

They do not, I'm sure you know this though. So are we screwed on that one? I take it it must be fitted to the exhaust, and in-line etc etc. "Yes officer, I have a precat in my car *snigger*" (IN THE BOOT).

What about janspeed manifolds being catless? I assume "optional extra" covers that as I understand they were offered at one point?
