Mg zs mk2 180, xpg £1000 !!!!!

Well I had sold this on the .org, took deposit, and the guy was meant to pick up today, but had no contact from them, so guess he has changed his mind, so heres someone else's chance to grab the steal of the month.

£150 deposit required to secure, don't pick it up when you say and it we be put back up for sale :)

MG ZS 2.5 V6 MK2 (Facelift) full wide arch body kit as well as extreme spoiler.

The speedo clock says that it’s done 71K miles, but in fact this a replacement clock as the last one failed, it also has a new engine in it (the previous engine developed a bottom knock after it had the belts done so cheaper to replace than fix), the new engine has 54K miles on it (the new engine came out of a ZT, so may have the hotter cam shafts in it, but don't hold me to that), and has all the belts and water pump replaced 3 months ago. Receipt for this work.

The actual mileage is 132000, but has full service history from one MG dealer (the supplying dealer), and has done around 20k miles a year, so motorway use mainly.

No Tax has just been sorned and a full 11 months MOT is now included.

Good bits

Body work has no rust or dents,
Has the full wide arch body kit,
Good alloys and very good tyres all round.
It also has the extreme spoiler which is quite rare on salons.
The spoiler is carbon fibre (don't get too excited it just carbo fibre wrap)
Fairly new middle section and backbox
FSH
Belts done (all belts done when engine replaced as well as the water pump)
I am the second owner.
XPower Grey (the best colour)
HPI Clear
Brand new thermostat and piping (major weak point in the KV6 engine) so no worries here
New drivers seat which has no bolster wear, which is very rare on these. (The photo is of the old seat and what they generally look like)
VIS motors on the inlet manifold seem good, in other words in goes like the clappers through all gears. no dead spots.
Brand new Fuel Pump
Since the tank was out I replaced the fuel tank with a brand new one (they rust on Mk2 really badly - I have to old fuel tank and spare fuel pumps with the sale if needed), I under sealed the new tank, so now you will have a new fuel system.
Just been serviced.
Gearbox Oil changed
BCU checked and relays fixed that needed it, in this case the electric windows relay had failed (research the infamous MK2 BCU - this will be some comfort knowing that this one is working fully and correctly)

Bad Bits

One arch at the bottom has a chip out of it, probably clipped a kerb at some point
The front bumper has some stone chipping going on.
Air conditioning doesn't work, not investigated why
Clutch peadle is squeaky
Clutch hydraulics may need attention in the future, the slave looks new, but I think the master may need to be looked as the biting point is quite low. (If you research the clutch hydraulics in KV6 engines are a week point, there are after market improvements), the clutch itself is fine and does not slip (checked when engine went in)
Missing boot carpet
and very slight blow from the backbox join to middle section (sounds like a super charger on full chat), just needs a new gasket or two)

Good and Bad

Fuel economy, you will get people tell you can 40mpg on a run or average over 30mpg, but I will be honest its impossible to do that when you have the purr of the V6 in front of you, I averaged 24mpg, which is your typical drive, and that was not with a light foot, that was with more than heavy foot, so lots of smiles out way the running costs of fuel.

With those minor faults I am going to sell it at realistic price, so grab a bit a monster for not much money.

Just took it round the block today to clean the brakes, and I forgot just what a beast it is to drive.

I don't want to go into details here, as that's just not right, but, I did contact him loads of times, but no response.

I could see him logging into the site, so must have seen the thread and the emails, yet still no contact. All I can assume is that the he has changed his mind.

He has my full address and phone number, so a quick call or text is not really a problem.

I just found it odd that a deposit was made, and then all goes quiet. Anyway, I have said IF there is a real genuine reason for this and I find a new buyer I WILL refund the deposit, but as it stands that is not going to happen.
