Sorry no comment - stupid fashion woman and 3 different price bracketed cars.
i would just like to say ,that slone ranger is not representative of all londoners:D
what was that she said, something about her clients not thinking much about her if she turned up in the MG!
i think a email to atomic kitten is in order:D
G
OK.

Did you notice that Plato stopped the LONDDON Bimbo short when she was 'aving ago! Thought Mike Brewer wasn't being realistic ; the price difference of the cars was £7k! Spec 'em the same and then compare! :( Max, said straight away the cars are not in the same class - how can you compare 'em!

Oh! and get a none pretentious London bird!
two choice comments, the twin exhausts on the A4 discribed as "rude boy" and the lexus as cyber........ ??????
Did you notice how they put the professional drivers in the foreign cars in the quarter mile race?
Mike Brewer better keep a low profile at the BTTC this season:D

Cerbman

The decisions were made before the test began! Very disappointing - the word is impartiality - NOT. :(

Kev

Had lost interest to listen!
BTW,didn't brewer claim to have driven a MG montego estate????
did they build one?
This is the bimbo.....Hannah Sandling, i'm about to tell atomic kitten what she thinks of MG drivers :D

Didn't watch it.

I hope that if they start reviewing cars objectively someone will let me know, then I may watch, but, as was previously mentioned in this thread, the decision was made before the program was made.

When will some people stop putting down anything British without giving it a fair trial.
G
Me thinks Kev watched the programme for another reason. Just HAPPENED to have the photos handy!!!! :D :D
sorry jerry, airline blondes aint my thing:D

I know what you mean - bit short on the ground flying cargo though. But you still had 'em handy though - bit of a worry that. :D

An MG Montego Est. was proposed, and indeed mock-ups were built, but production was never scheduled, as the GSI filled that niche in the est. line up. One is believed to exist somewhere.
Just got this from the editor of 4car.................

Hi,

You're right, there never was a an MG Montego estate - Mike forgot in the heat of the moment. But, though there was never an engine bigger than the 2.0 in the Montego, the original Montego Turbo was a real handful if you let loose with the throttle, and the revised version wasn't a lot better either.

Glad Mike entertained you at the X-Power tent.

Cheers,

Editor,
They've had a letter off me too, though mine wasn't very nice, I had a real go at them about that show, needless to say they haven't replied to mine.
Ah! Mr. Richrd Bremner!
He once worked for ARG at Cowley, you know.....
:D

Hope you told him about this forum, Kev (And told him to register!);)
Dave,you were right :O)
hi,
Yes, I did work for BL and Austin Rover, though mainly at the marketing dept at Canley and Bickenhill. had a look at your forum, and will doubtless look again - it's quite interesting.
