On a serious note, glad I sold the excellent BMW RWD 335D or don't own a 260 as an everyday car in these wintry conditions. FWD or AWD is the only choice, hence my Mondeo or GTR for some fun. Having said that the GTR has stayed in the garage - noway the idiots on the wintry roads are going to take me out.

Interesting, article in this months EVO regarding the 260 which I've placed on www.xpower-racing.com

I imagine in supercharged form the 260 is fun in dry conditions (never driven a Dreadnought conversion and probably never will - unless anyone is prepared to let me have a go, so can't make a real judgement).

would a black 54 plate MG ZT-T 260 SE with 55k miles 1 owner car tempt a new owner out there, I think it can be owned for £5500 possibily a touch less. Few chips on front bumper and wheels could do with a refurb

Had mine since March 2008 and have added just over 50,000 miles since then.

Installed LPG the week after I got it and reckon fuel cost is similar (or a little less) than my old ZT-T cdti 135. :dddc:

Had mine (04 Mk1 SE) for about 2½ years now and currently on 74k. Loved every mile. Mk1 springs changed and a few other know issues sorted, just need to stop it blowing rads. New copper rad on order should stop it.

20+ smiles per gallon.

LS2 - The 6litre Corvette lump? How the hell does that fit!?! lol Would be interesting to see! Looking at the sizes, its quite a bit bigger. Who needs a heater anyway! lol
