The main lights will not come on. side, beam, etc all work just the main light on both sides. :( Any thoughts from anyone who has owned a ZS/45 would be most welcome?

Checked the normal stuff (with a touch) fuses etc except the bulbs but have gone on the assumption both would not go together. Will look at thoses tonight.

The headlights are fed from a relay that may have become dislodged. I think it is in the fuse panel under the steering column, just where the relays get the occasional kick!

Sheddist,

The relays in the dashboard fuse box don't cover the headlights, could it be the main box in the engine bay ?

I would say the bulbs. Wouldn't surprise me if both bulbs decided to let go together.
When one goes there will be a little more power available to the other and if they are the same age then the extra power can be the final straw. You only have to check one of them to find if there is a bulb problem.
