Anyone had a full first service yet?
And how much? Called 3 dealers so far all 3 different. Their computer is meant to show them a price, but nothing comes up for the 180, so they are having to do some sums and calling me back.

>Did you try Kernahans?

Not yet Jerry, trying the more local dealers first, might be worth a trip!
I did wonder if I shud run it into the pitlane while I'm at Mondello, and get WSR to do a full service :D

Cheers

First service completed this morning. Fast effiecent and friendly service from the people at Crown Garage! The guy on the desk actually found the menu price on his computer system at £162, so I'm well pleased at £150 :D

90 quid sounds like labour only! I dont have my reciept to hand, but will list items and costs later.

Possibly... Yes, would be useful if you could do that Kelvin, thanks!

Of course, the final bill always seems to be more than they quote... :)

Service Costs

My fist service was 141.00 pounds from Marshalls in Cambridge. Seemed about right to me, I don't think its going to be long until my next service. I'm on 20,000 miles already.

Pollen Filter 19.16
Pollen filters have always bugged me. I'm sure they're great for hayfever sufferers, but I don't need or want one. Does anyone know what would happen if I didn't have it replaced? Would it clog up and impede ventilation (in which case could it be removed?) or would it just stop filtering the pollen?

Did you have to take in both key fobs then? I'll have to rumage around and find my spare if so!

I only took one keyfob, they gave me the second battery to change myself, after explaning what to do!!. Service chap made a point about doing the key fob, good attention to detail I thought!!.
I have no idea about the pollen filter, or even where its located. I suppose you could ask for it not to be changed, but then you wont get a tick in the approprate box on the service sheet!! Will save £20 though!!

Did not flatten batteries. It's standard MGR practice at a service to renew batteries for your alarm!! I think in times past there were problems, so they try and make sure customers have a working key fob!!!.
