Sounds a good price for both regs.

You tried the MGCC or MGOC, they might be interested in the MG number for their cherished old MG????

They charge for advertising in their respective magazines. I am a member of the MGCC but not the MGOC currently. Ebay has a much wider audience and is only 40p for a months advertising.

They have now been relisted:

>Seem alot of money considering the price of the current MG-R cars, with the exception of the MG6. XP04WER is a nice reg but limited to only a few cars, i.e 04 or newer.

It's not a lot of money when you consider what DVLA are now charging for anything remotely interesting. It's also not a lot if you own an SV. XP03 WER now resides on an SV - coincidently bought from me at a bargain price. XP04WER would look fantastic on another SV which is why I kept hold of it - in the hopes that one day I might own one. But prices are still silly.

The 8949 MG plate is also cheap compared to all other similar plates currently being sold by www.regtransfers.co.uk - most of which are £2500+

XP04WER would also look good on any BMW X1, X3, or X5 model - but I would prefer if it ended up on an MG.
