Hi folks does anyone know which coloured wire (live) I tap into on back of stereo for wiring up neons? Or perhaps there are other areas in interior I could tap into.

depends if you have the kenwood stereo that my 180 came with as standard,there should be an iso plug with a red and black wire witch is all i used or use to fit neons or lights in the footwells.

well if your not going to do it properly (with a relay) then the cigerette lighter socket would be better then the stereo, easy to get to the back of it, just take the ash tray out, you can then just push it out and splice into it.

Maybe I'll use the ciggy lighter, how does ashtray come out and which lead is live?
