Hi all

i have a v6 zs 2003.. it has a small coolant leak...
i have heard the thermostat house tends to be a common problem..
i want to check it.. where abouts is it?
any pics always help.. easy enough to change?

in the V of the engine under the inlet manifold the thermostat is

From what I have read on here, take care if you split the fuel lines out. They have "O" rings to seal, if you split or lose them its difficult to replace them.

Some have said its best to leave them alone and take off as a assembly.

May be best to put in the search bit, that will explain it better than me, as I have a derv so know nothing about the V6!!!!

Best of luck with it, there is also a metal thermostat housing that is an upgrade from the plastic one.

Well think i have found my leak..
it seems to be the joint (max line) on the expansion box.. all the time its below that it does not leak.. and when it does it only till its below that line. then it does not loose any more..
