Thinking of Selling ZT 190+

1352 Views 9 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  400-ascona
I know I will regret it, but I am thinking of selling the ZT (apparently I have too many toy's!).

Just been serviced, and had new thermostat fitted. New front Avon tyres 2k miles ago, rears with plenty of tread. New Battery last year, and bottom engine mount.

This is a really nice car, and I knew it was the right one when I saw it. Give me a ring on 07811 892396 (Rob) if you want to come and have a look around the car.

Spec is huge:
3D widescreen sat nav (2010 disc)
TV
Harman Kardan Speakers and Amp
6 disc changer
Rain sensitive wipers
Heated Seats
Leather Alcantara
Xenons
Dual zone climate
Folding mirrors

The bad bits:
Small amount of wear on drivers seat (very small)
Front discs slightly warped
Scuff on the NS rear arch
Yes I'm really fussy with my cars, its a very nice genuine car, and great to drive, but trying to be honest.

You have a Lotus Carlton!!! lucky man.
There seems to be a van missing off that list!

That fortunately is my mates and not mine! I got suckered into fitting an additional parking mirror and running lights to his truck because he helped me polish the MG. Only fair!

It's the Lotus Carlton the wife wants me to sell, and not the MG. However I can't bring myself to sell the Carlton, and my son is beside himself that the option is even being considered (he's 5 now and is confident the Carlton will be his first car!).

I have been lucky enough to take a Lotus carlton to its limit awesome machine, was quite upset when my mate sold it as he was low on cash.
I'm just as amazed that you've got a Carlton GSi too, used to like those and I didn't think there were any still around, never seen one for years :)
Might need to give people a rough idea of what you want for it.

To be honest I am open to offers. I have it listed on Pistonheads for £2450, but for that I would put 12 months MOT and 6 months tax on it.

If you go to Billing Aquadrome in Northampton first weekend in July there will be Lotus Carltons and GSI's all over the place. My GSI is a low mileage 24v. Half way through putting a new arch on it, but other than that its great.
