We start the season with two races at Donington this Sunday. Hope to see some of you there. We are just finishing a new LE500 for Garry Wetton (ex ZR190 driver) which will be out at the next round at Brands on the 5/6th May. This year there should be 4 LE500's out which will add to the fun.

First rounds been and gone. Qualifying was a problem due to the supply to the electric vac pump for Pauls brake servo parting company from the switch which in turn ment he had no servo right from the start. The problem is that the pedal then becomes like a block of wood with very high pressures required and no sense of feel. Paul did well to be 4th on the grid. The Trophy was combined with with the Peter Best Insurance Challenge which cause a few problems due to the large speed difference of the two groups which ment that by half way through the race the Trophy cars were lapping the Peter Best cars with all the time loss and dangers that that can create due to the speed differences. In race one Paul ran into the back of an MGB which cut across him as he was about to overtake (wing, bumper and headlamp damage). We finished 4th but could have done better if we had been a little luckier with the slow traffic. Race two was better as Paul got a good start from 4th on the grid and led the race the whole way and was this time much lucker with the places he came up behind the back markers. The last race was red flagged on the last lap when one of the Peter Best cars spun in front of Paul and stopped in the middle of the track. We were very lucky that Paul did not T bone the MGB our only damage was some very badly flat spotted slicks. Roll on Brands where we will have the track to ourselves.
