Sports cat if you're going for manni's otherwise de cat. No mot issues at all as pre cat does sufficient to pass emissions. Whereas if you go for mani's you will lose the pre cat in the process.

The 180 has 2 cats, a main cat and 1 pre cat in the manifold

Also consider that most of us have not had any lights come on at all with a de cat pipe. I'm into my third or fourth year now.
