Had a good experience buying new tyres today for anyone looking for tyres in the Northampton area.
Tyres of Northampton.
Bought two more Pirrelli P Zero`s. £ 220 all in.
Very helpful people. Phoned five other companys for a quote.
I have to say how pissed off I get when they first quote £ 150 per tyre and when you tell them that thats to high a quote,
they then think for 5 seconds and then offer you them for £40 less
This happened in 4 of 5 phone calls today.
Tyres of Northampton ( look them up in Yell.com )
They only give their lowest qoute first..so no time wasting here.
They also keep stock. Everyone else were qouting 24-48 hours delivery. They had an effecient business. Good phone manner, pleased to see you when you arrived. They suggested that the P Zero are good for about 10,000 and reccomended changing all four next time and fitting a bigger size. 215 Toyos which they say Scoobys are getting 14,000 miles usage. Interesting !
All in all 10/10 for service.
I gather these people attend a lot of race meetings.
