Hi, i was opening the rear door of the car this morning and the handle assembly nearly came off in my hand. Its very loose though if you hold it with one hand and pull on the handle it will still open. Its a mk2 hatch, is this common/fixable?

Ah thankyou. The cowboy i bought it from had the handle resprayed as the paint was bubbling when i looked at it, another thing he didnt sort properly....
