As well as Prince Philip having his ZS, Sophie (Edwards wife) has a red ZT (Remember the pics. in the press over her naughty parking a few weeks back?)

I've met the Prince through working with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and the impression I get is that if he likes something he is passionate about it.
How long before we here of X-Power regalia being delivered to the palace.

Wasn't Philip instrumental in gettign BMC to bring in Italian farina stylists to boost brit car design in the late 50s/early 60s (cambrigde/oxford etc)?

If he's got an interest in what is now MGR, then why not buy an MG Saloon. Besides, with Bentley in german hands now.......

The Royals do drive more ordinary cars than Bens and RR's, something that doesn't stand out too much, so it could very well be true.
