Just upgraded from a 190 to a 260 and I agree that the A/C doesn't seem as good in the 260. Work in central London, and last week the temp was 25/26 outside, and the A/C really had to work hard....

After 10 minutes in the 190 you could freeze half a cow!

AC now up in smoke!

A new development to the AC story.....

Driving up the M11 on thursday night, big clouds of smoke coming from the car.... (always a tad embarrassing when you have just shot past everyone at warp factor 9..!)

MG assistance did their thing and the car is now back with the dealers. AA thought it was the steering fluid reservoir that ruptured but according to the dealers it was a burst pipe from the air con...

Apparently the fluid burns similar to brake or steering fluid.

Hopefully have it back for monday.

True it is a bit cramped in there! Have seen the part still attached. Split at the clamp.

The on-going saga is that there are no spares for this - anywhere! Aparently they are going to try and get one from the production line, but I am being advised that it could take 7 days - 7 long days!

Have tried speaking with customer services at Longbridge but they are next to useless.....
