Guys,
Then ZR is currently having a engine overhaul soon with headgasket change and a new set of belts, looking at piper 270 cams for my 160 vvc and wondering if its worth the money for extra 6-8bhp gain....thoughts please????

Yeah its worth doing.
does the vvc system have to be blanked off or not?

No, this is just an uprated exhaust camshaft to be used in conjunction with the standard VVC inlet cams. No blanking off.
Hi as piper dealers we can do some better prices if you want, also you can have your exhaust cam re profiled to 270 which take 5 days approx as we have done for others.
