Bloody hell. I do hope the car isn't written off for this - you all know how over-zealous insurers are to rid our roads of MGRs of late................

Sadly, given the cost of a probably unobtainable bumper and the high cost of painting, the repair cost will be in excess of the cars value, in the insurers eyes anyway.
