We have just bought a new laptop with Windows 7. Im not sure but I gather I cant not use 'Outlook Express'.

If I cannot use 'OE', what can I use for my BT Internet emails?

windows live mail is what its now called. Basically the same to set up but looks a little different.

if you have not already found it, I just updated 5 pc's with Windows 7, was a bit upset that mail was not included but soon got used to Live Mail.

If you are into Friedfox as a browser you could try Thunderbird . . . you could probably also connect Gmail to BTInt for your emails . . .

I guess office would have the mail client, but of course u pay extra for that ?

You do have to pay extra for Outlook (Not Outlook Express) in the office suite.

I've been using Windows Live Mail since it was a beta and think i'd struggle to ever go back to Outlook Express ....
