Hey folks, took delivery this morning of my new I.C.E. for my ZR.

Pioneer AVX-P7000CD head unit with 7" widescreen TFT, and the master control unit. I also bought a Centurion DVD player with Dolby Digital Suround output.

Gets installed 2mo (Sat 27th) and i have to say that i can't wait to show off the system.

Remember that i am also installing a 12" stealth sub in the boot with new after market mids/highs all round the car. I think the whole project is gonna take a couple of months so keep your ears n eyes open for photo's and sounds at meets!!!!

What made you select Pioneer? I'm still going for Kenwood, as long as they can sort out using the "Steering Wheel" controls.

Should be fun - no Playstation??

No not yet, i'm not made of money!!!!!

Everyone has got Kenwood units and while looking at TFT's the Pioneer looked to be as good a build quality, performance etc....

So i opted for the Pioneer unit. Only time will tell if it was the right choice....

Interface

Does the Pioneer interface with the steering wheel controls?

Fraid not. Seperate remote to lose somewhere in the car.

To be honest i prefer that though, coz then when @ meets u can change settings outside of the car.
