I have a Mk1 tailgate smoothed for sale for 200/25/ZR/Streetwise up for grabs.
It's had a plate welded in over the number plate recess, but tbh you can still just about see the joins. (if you REALLY look close)
This is nothing that a quick layer of filler and paint won't fix though, it's not bad at all.
It has a first layer of primer on it however will need resanding and re doing as i gave up once i came across a Mk2 rear end and will be using that instead
