Haven't seen the article, but did they moan about uncomfortable seating and bad visibility? If they did they were probably driving backwards!!! Would be about right for the average motoring journo.

Hmmm, when you consider that the MGF has a pair of highly modified Metro front subframes, the front one with the drive train removed and the rear one mounted backwards with the steering geometry removed, i suppose as the driven rear wheels are mounted in a front subframe, you could say it was FWD...

Then again, given the standard of motoring journo intelligence (somewhere between a lobotomised amoeba and Anne Robinson);) i doubt whether the author is aware of this little factoid...

The dafted thing was that when they pull away on the gravel the rear wheels clearly spun.
