Hi!

I have taken off the gear linkage on my zs to fit a quickshift lever, bushes and linkage, and the rubber boot from the lever which was broken.

I saw on another forums that on zr the gear linkage has a counterweight on the end.

Does the zs has one too?

I have not bought the car new, mine does not have any counterweight but i'm affraid that the previous owner removed it.

I also readed on forums that if you fit a quickshift lever will touch the exhaust pipe if it bigger than O.E, and i do plan to fit 2.5 inch exhaust pipe will it still work after the exhaust fitted?

Regards

I don't know about the mechanics of the gearlever but if you fit a short shifter before the exhaust and then get a bespoke system built you can ask them to take in to account the short shifter.
