mg zr 1.8. motd £400 must go :(
mg zr 120 silver 5 door, 2001 mot til jan or feb, runs sweet. has a few niggley issues hence the low price.
bad parts:
-exhaust flexy rattles a tad
-i removed the thermostat to stop it from over heating as it was seized shut, just needs new one putting in.
-paint is pealing off the bonnet
-rear door has a scrape down it, both this and bonnet from breakers would be cheap
-handbrake is weak, had a new caliper and the cable fine so should just need adjusting
-abs tempremental from time to time
-and the headgasket seaping slightly outwards, but it never lost any water or oil so it never bothered me. i drove it 30miles+ daily for 3 months and never let me down.
good bits:
-vvc inlet,throttle body and injectors
-cherrybomb backbox with decat exhaust
-no knocks bangs or smoke and runs sweet
-£1000s owrth of invoices from previous work
-new cambelt and tensioner fitted less than 500miles ago
- all tyres are very very good less than 18months old
really really need the space back as people are moaning at me, i loved this car but had to give it up for a work van so its currently SORN. could never get chance to sort out the little issues its got. bargain at £400ono
