Has anyone on this forum adapted their MG to LPG?

With the cost of LPG compared with petrol and diesel surely we should all be converting our cars to run on this ... so whats stopping us?

Tbh that's the answer I expected but if the calculations add up, ie mileage high enough to see the investment back, then surely its a very real alternative.

It's generally only worth it if you buy a car that's already been converted; unless you're planning to do at least another 40K miles to make it pay off. Having said that, I know a guy who got a nearly new 2nd hand kit from the scrappies for about £200 and did the conversion work himself. He's laughing now.

You are looking at about £750 in parts or £1200 fitted.

It will give you fuel costs about half what you pay on fuel.
