Copied this from a post by Paul Hollingworth on the MG BB - anyone know whether its worth a journey? If so anyone going?

There is an IMechE lecture on the future of MG Rover at Longbridge tonight. Its free and everyone is welcome.
Just a quick reminder about tomorrows lecture at the MG-Rover plant in Longbridge, Birmingham;

The Future of MG Rover - Presented by Jules Carter, Chief Engineer, Chassis & Vehicle Integration

"Learn of the rebirth of MG and Rover and of the exciting future for
these two famous British marques"

The presentation starts at 7:30 (for 8:00) Visitors Centre, MG Rover, Q Gate, Longbridge. Refreshments will be provided.

Directions:

Train - Longbridge station can be easily reached from Birmingham New Street, MG Rover is about 1.5 miles away (although I would check on a map first for exact directions (www.multimap.co.uk - postcode B31 2TB)

Car - If you are coming from the M6, come off at junction 8 onto the M5 South to junction 4 onto the A38 towards Birmingham, you will pass MG Rover (you can't miss it)!! If you are coming from Birmingham Centre, you need to get yourself onto the A38 towards Longbridge and, again, you can't miss it! Again, check on www.multimap.co.uk if you are unsure.

Apologies for the slight vagueness of these! Signed Paul

If any body needs to know, the Visitor Centre is at 'Q' Gate which is situated on Low Hill Lane adjacent to Cofton Park
