Thinking whilst lying in the bath lastnight. If I was a team manager of MG who would I like driving at Le Mans in 2002. I would have a 3 car team to tend to. However, because it's a British entry all drivers must be Brits. All things being equal. This is what I came up:

Car No 1 - Derek Bell, Brian Redman and Vic Elford.

Car No 2 - Johnny Herbert, Mark Blundell and Martin Brundel.

Car No 3 - Geoff Lees, Julian Bailey and John Fitzpatrick.

What would your choice be?

That a good one - what happened to Steve Soper and Anthony Reid? :D

Must the allocated drivers have "Sports Car Experience" and be "Alive & Kicking"?

OK, here goes: :)

#33. James Hunt - Jerry Flint - Derek Bell.

I'm only racing if we get the XPower girl support!

#34. McNish - Brundle - Blundell.

#35. Wallace - McNish - Redman.

Feel sorry for wee little Allan McNish having to do double stints in cars No 34 and 35. James Hunt is a wild card. However, he did contend a few Sportscars Races in the early to mid 1970's. Came a creditable 4th in 1974 driving a Gulf sponsored Mirage Cosworth at the Nurburgbring sharing with Mr Bell and the late Mike Hailwood this was a 1000kms.
