Hi guys,
Got some new 18" alloys from fellow list member and they can run upto 225/35/18's . At the moment she runs stock suspension but that will change over winter with a 20mm drop, so before I purchase the wrong Tyres has anyOne run into clearance problems with larger Tyres mainly on the front as the rear seems fine?

Oh and the current wolfrace items with brand new (350m use)
205/45/17 toyo proxes will be uP for grabs soon if anyone want first shout??

Cheers
Paul

Yup anything other than 215/35/18 will scrape thats the widest you will get without arch work, iirc mine are 205/35/18's atm but without going out to the car I'm not 100%

all depends on the offset and camber.

I run neg 3 front and neg 2 rear, with some arch mods on a mk2 ZS you can run 9" wide rimes with 235/240 slicks.
I wish i'd gone for 9J, but I run 8J x17 with 235/610/17 slicks and no rubbing at all.

When you get close to the limits (as in 9" wide rims), you'll find you may need 3or5mm spacer plates on the rear, or rear wheels with a different offset would be best.

For 225's you are running 7.5 or 8" wide rims?

If your lowering the car, I assume you will rectify the camber, and perhaps add a little more?
