Smashed passenger window in Leics last Wednesday so that was a mess, friday driving home car pulled out and clipped it!

Bonnet Grill, paint on bumper, kerbed alloy

Wrote off cos of the above, how pathetic is that?!

Got just over 1360 coming back in way of a cheque and agreed 239.70 for the car to be retained

Anyone got a blue ZS grill??

I have a MKII grille in TB with early mesh - may be tempted to part with it for right cash...

That sounds like a good result, so they valued the car at £1599.70, they can't have looked at prices recently.

Crazy, still least you can sort it and keep it on the road.

Lucky no one was hurt by the sound of it, just the front of the car, best of luck with it.

Gary, talk to me...

Looking for a replacement bumper too, so hard to find intact and not ruined :(

TalkingCars, I 100% agree, as said was expecting about £800-900 mark lol

The inspector did say that it was in immaculate pre-accident condition which may of helped, also argued to the person on phone that it ws deemed as a "classic" car due to its rariety and prestigous brand :MG:

It helped

Might get a rear bumper too as a few years ago my "ex" navigated me into a wall and did some damage to the paint also lol

So, Grille, front and rear bumpers wanted

Most importantly, nobody was hurt in the making of this damaged car
Insurance did also agree to get my passenger window tinted, paintwork on door and interior door card fixed or replaced after if was broken into last Wednesday too as it was a seperate claim to which I paid my £90 excess for

If it's their drivers fault they always offer that bit extra to keep you sweet rather than an ongoing battle.

My mate is going to break a tb mk1. Its not in the best of nick I would have to check how good the bits that you want are.

Could be a one stop shop but your 70 miles away.

BACK IN THE ROOM!!!

Polished as best as I could bumper above number plate (see the white primer still), replaced fog lamp which was broken and put on the 2nd hand grill (all lugs snapped at top so had to double side tape on) lots of marks but looks better than the old one anyhow.

All fun, fun, fun!

Just purchased another grill and a bumper as not happy with what I've got right now.

Bumper has a nice scuff but hoping can get that done locally??

Any relatively well priced body shops in Norwich/Yarmouth area?
