I recently connected my ipod to the computer to sync some new music.
However, it just wiped my ipod and now everytime I try to sync it, it just says 'iPod sync is complete'.

Ive just downloaded the latest version of itunes and its an Ipod 80gb classic.
Any ideas?

there is an option in itunes you need to switch off, i think it is at the bottom on the front page when you click on your ipod icon in on the left.

iTunes is awful IMHO.

I like to use my iPod touch on both work and home computers and if you synch everything it's a nightmare.

To navigate around this I tick the following options:

=>Manually manage songs and videos

=>Prevent iPods from synching automatically.

These options are found when you connect to iTunes and select your device.

Then it's just a case of dragging and dropping everything I want on the iPod and deleting stuff that I don't want.

Got it working in the end. A virus had done something to it!
The idea of itunes is good, its just a sod to get it working how you want.
