the ex 259 uses the 2.0 kv6 but with larger size valves.
this coming season there have been rule changes to keep costs down and they have to use standard size valves.
when you hear the 2.0 kv6 go by ,it dont have the same meaty sound of a 2.5 kv6 in fact it sounds a little girly :O)
