Hi, Can anyone tell me the part number for a 16cc gear box, as the 14cc is different. I know the 14cc will fit, but the gear ratio is different, and where to locate the part number on the gear box.
Thanks

Originally the part number was on a White label stuck to the bell housing.

Part number for the R65 TRC101870, and for the IB5 TRC103761.

The wife has a Rover 45 (52) 16cc.... the gearbox is getting noisy. What will be the deferent’s if I put a 14cc box in or a 18cc box in.

I think the 1400 box has a different final drive (lower) the 1800 box has different gear ratios but is also a different box all together so you would need to swap over to the hydraulic clutch system and change the drive shafts, box mounts and gear selector!!
