Seriously considering removing my manifold and taking out the pre-cat as its loose and rattling like hell on low revs. Already have a de-cat so wondering if it will still run ok and will it cause the engine management light to come on. The light comes on once a month as it is. Will removing the pre-cat cause the light to stay on permanently?

If you do remove all the cats your car will probably fail the next MoT test on it's emissions..............:err:

removing them both will cause the mil to come on. you can get a mil eliminator to stop that though.

i have janspeed manifolds and the 2nd cat on at the mo and easily passed the mot.
