I have some rear pads on order and was thinking of fitting them myself. Can anyone tell me if I need a wind back tool? I hoped that as the hand brake is seperate that I shouldn't need it. Thanks!
You don;t need a wind back tool. The rears are far easier than the fronts, you don;t have to remove the callipers. You can either use a g clamp or loosen the bleed nipple and release by hand.
My brakepads were worn at the rear and my local specialist found out the the pad of a Nissan 350Z fit perfectly. I have been using them now for a few days and they work excellent.
