I've just fitted a BMC (Big thanks to the previous owner). Sounds like a wookie now, much better than open cone I had on the previous car. It's going a bit more eagerly too but that could be the layer of wax I just put on reducing the drag :err:

Pics to follow, bit of a bodge so its not pretty.

Bean can AND cable ties! I reckon I could duck tape that up a bit too.


bolted down to the mount where the old airbox bung is, nice and sturdy so no worries about it hitting the rad.

Can you slack that clip off and spin it away from the back of the Rad ?
I did think it was a bit close to the rad but it's solid, only movement it side to side. I will look at flattening out the bracket, thanks for the suggestion. I think it might allow fwd/backward movement though and make it more likely to hit the rad.

I'll get a proper silicone TB hose on there soon and that should firm it up some more.
