Not far from me is this car! Says coolant pipes replaced in November 2010 & something else in June 2001!!!
I would have claimed of the AA if they split my window too.

I think she meant 2010 but got them in the wrong order. I've driven past this car on the school run loads of times. Must admit I've never had a good look at it though.

Probably did claim but spent the moneys elsewhere. The MGF I just bought for spares has had the head done by the AA, guy must have had very comprehensive cover. Obviously not actually done at the roadside but taken to a garage by the AA and fixed at their cost.

I was talking to a mechanic friend who had done the same to an MGF, had the window bent in a cold workshop for a week while he worked on it and it cracked when he lowered it, they are only £80 to replace.
