Like Max, I have just taken a car for it's first service, as i am currnetly piloting a F**d M**** for a while for work. I am inclined to think that Max has the better car regardless of what JD Power says!

Jobs to do?

1. Central locking doesn't anymore.
2. CD player has a mind of its own, unable to retrieve discs.
3. Annoying (and downright dangerous) flat spot.
4. Loud "clicking" noise from O/S front wheel. Told it was ABS sensor resetting itself.."They all do that, sir - Have you heard the Puma? They're worse" (!)
5. Rattles and buzzes from dash area.
6. Clock gains an hour a week.
7. Drivers door trim falling off (The whole panel)
8. Fuse has blown in the 12v outlet and is impossible to exchange as the whole glovebox assy has to be removed !!!!

Hmmmmmmm!

I think the JD result depends on whether the punter wants to whinge about the manufacturer, after a bad experience at a dealership. Again Martin Kernahan mentioned that many buyers take their cars to them for service as the other local dealership support is found wanting!

Nevertheless - sounds like a nightmare Dave, never like the excuse they all do that - if true the designs crap! How many miles have you added to the Madeo? :D

Actually, it wasn't a service, I just got fed up with it all! It's done about 6, and not due until 10.
I was offered a Ka as a loan. But I took the bus back to save face!

PS. Just been up the shop...ABS still clicks, fuse still blown!!
