The 5th LONDON MEET

SUNDAY 24/10/10 - 13:00pm
The HALFWAY HOUSE - BRENTWOOD

WELCOME

We are MG-ROVER - LONDON, a group of like minded owners of all
different models of MG-ROVER's from down the years who meet
up once a month to chat, share ideas, thoughts, parts and to just
make the most of a lazy sunday afternoon.

We meet up on the 3rd Sunday of the Month (The fouth this time
due to clashing with an established Event) at our latest location,
The Halfway House in Brentwood, we came to this location based
on the fact that we needed somwhere that isn't so urban and congested and has been at our meets and also very easy access
to and from the M25.

The new location has a massive car park, serves great food and its easy to get to as the A127 is straight off the M25 at Junction 29,
our Meet Thread and facebook Moderator ROVER-25X has been to
this venue many times with his old FORD Club and all who attended
the last meet will agree that it easier to get and is very accomotading for the numbers that we attracted from .org and the
many other Forum Members that came.

ABOUT THE MEET

We arrive as the designated time which is early in the afternoon so that we can make a day of it and avoid the dark nights that are fast
approching this time of year.

After looking at Members Cars we take a few pics and weather permiting we stay outside to greet anyone who has yet to arrive, were not hard to find as we all park together in the Venue Car Park, the current Meet Rep is traineecollins who drives a Silver Rover 100 so keep an eye out.

We will always do our best to have the Meets at venues with facillities so if the Weather takes a turn for the worst or if its the Winter Months there is always somewhere warm to sit, plus the proximity of Toilets, Food and Drink always go down well.

These Meets are Family Friendly and we welcome anyone to participate, we are always looking for new meet venues so if you can suggest a good meet location then tell us and we can chat about it on the forum or at the meet.

There are a good handful of us from all over the London, Kent and Essex areas but we gladly welcome more, if you know any other Members on .org near the Meet or Friends who own an MG-ROVER then SPREAD THE WORD and post up Topics on your respective
owners Club Web-sites.

Bump for Sunday.

There must be SOMEONE in Kent or Essex?

Easily accessible from m25, only took me 30 mins from junction 5, including tolls. :p

Is the red ZR in the 6th picture from Dartford? I'm sure I've seen it about.

Unfortunately my car is in having the rear bumper partially resprayed after someone decided to use it as a buffer to get into the parking space next to mine (Fortunately they stayed parked next to me and their insurance is paying for the work) otherwise we possibly would've come along.

Glad it seems to growing. Saw the "Yellow" ZT last month.

Unfortunately, I was working and my MG currently requires an engine rebuild.

Hope to join one of your meets sometime soon.
