right i know this might be a stupid question, but this is just out of interest.

could the 2.5 V6 be turbocharged. also what parts if you could would you need and what difference would it make to the performance. this is just a question i was wondering if it was a possibility.

It isn't that easy to turbo a V6, you'd need to do some serious rerouting of the exhaust down pipes, it is much easier to fit a supercharger.

Yes but a lot of work, why not get a diesel which could wear the turbo badge.

You would need to fit 2 small turbos for which space is limited or reroute the exhausts so there is one larger turbo over the gearbox, you'd then need to move everything else in that area.

Even then you wouldn't get any more power than you can get out of a tuned T16.

You can do anything you want if you hav enough time and money. The costs to setup a turbo motor would be huge.

If I ever dump the charged motor then the only thing I would look at would be a v8 and convert to rear wheel drive!

Not as hard as you think and easier to undertake than turbo charging the kv6.

It would be a huge undertaking to do this; and you'd be left with a ticking timebomb (as we've seen on 'other' forced induction projects.

Not to mention the insurance complexities too.
