That sounds like a very good excuse to get on the ferry and bring the Zed back to England for a few days. I would really enjoy that. And it would be my cars 10 anniversary too :) Might be able to pick up some spares at the same time. Probably come in via Portsmouth and stay overnight in a Premier Inn local to Longbridge

Yes my ZS mark 2 is 10 years registered tomorrow.
A great car and a great miles stone, will try to attend POL in 2015.

I was in Guernsey in June this year with my mark 1 ZS on a scenic car tours holiday. Really enjoyed my stay.

Love the images especially EXE

Hi mate

You will like this one then :)

If you come over again give me a shout first and I will meet up with you for a drink. If we can time it right we could go to one of the events - they have lots over the Summer including a classic car show in the park. Since there are a lot of retired folk here there are a lot of old cars in good nick - couple of RS2000 (Mk1 and 2) Escorts this summer, lots of Cosworths, an Integrale Delta and a lot of MG's - mostly TF's and Midgets. We have an MG dealer here still. We also have hill climbs and some sprints.

Yes really like the photo's.

When I was over we stayed at the Peninsular hotel and on the Sunday there was beach 4x4 racing over the other side of the bay.

The racing looked quite intense.

I just sat opposite and watched.

Thanks for the offer will bear this in mind.

No problem, glad you had a nice time. I used to do exactly the same - bring the Zed over on the ferry to see my sister here, stay in a B&B - here is one of my tourist photos :)

I am just down the West coast now from your hotel - they also have open make racing (madness) on this beach (Vazon) and the main curving coast road itself Vazon Road is closed off 3 or 4 times over the Summer for a tarmac 1/4 mile sprint - an excuse to blow off some steam and spin the wheels - anyone can run in it with basic safety checks, fireproofs and a helmet - they are a bit mad here.

Best wishes

Paul

Very sadly I had work commitments that prevented my attendance, so any pictures would be great.

Very disappointed to miss such an important event, 10 years and all that goes with this, mile stone.
