I have tsw 4x100 et35 7x18" on my zs180 mk2 (prev on mk2 hatch)
over bumps with weight they will rub on the rear arches, just slightly.
that was with 215 35 18 tyres.
either go et 40 or roll the rear arches.
If on a mk2, you can (if you dare) remove a fair bit of the front wing metal and remove metal from rear arches and seam weld it back up, doing this you can go 8" or even 9" wide rims (9" will need a bit of neg camber, but should just do it)
for the track I run 8x17 with 235 tyres and every time I look at it wish I had gone for 9" wide rims. You can't get full lock without rubbing the tyres on the front though.
