Have a spare piston, con rod, full set of rings and end bearing cap for a KV6 2.5ltr ( petrol ) ordered for a mg190zt ,,,,, i needed piston for cylinder number 4 ( rear bank ) I was sent a piston for the front bank. Hence the sale...... any offers

Are the front & rear pistons different then?

Never ordered parts for the KV6 but not seen different pistons before!?

i thought the pistons and rods were balanced as sets ???

I think the pistons are reversed due to the inlet manifold being on the 'wrong' side, so the bigger valve cutouts are on the inlet side, not the exhaust.
Iirc as well, the gudgeon pins are offset in the piston.
