2006 Calendar

8 July 2005 - 2006 MG calendar by Martin Honey - a request!
I recently posted a thread asking for opinions on which calendar to produce featuring XPF cars (or members ). Thanks to those who replied to the survey.

I am now looking to start work on a XPF wall calendar and so this is a general request for forum members to post me their picture, before the closing date 31st August. This will enable me to go to print and have them available for purchase 1st October.

There was talk of a risqué calendar but unless there is a definite direction with this I think we should keep it to MGs only (although I wouldn't rule out tasteful glamour shots if the MG was prominent).

Once pictures have been received, a selection will be made that reflects fairly on the XPF.

Sorry, I can't do first come first served, as I'm sure you will appreciate that some pictures will have a better crop and quality than others plus I could end up with the first 12 pictures representing only one model so its up to you to give me your best shot! When considering your picture, please be aware of backgrounds, shadows and lighting, for example an MG with a skip behind it shot at 9pm isn't going to look its best and the same goes for car show pictures where everyone is parked next to each other. Try and isolate your car and give the background some consideration, choose something that complements the car but doesn't overwhelm it. Hope the advice helps.

If there are more than 12 pictures that are suitable, then with the owners permission, these could be carried over to a 2007 calendar.

For those who prefer a desk calendar I would be happy to do a short run if there is a minimum of 10 orders.

The email address to send digital pictures to is: martindhoney@yahoo.co.uk

For standard photographs please pm me for my address.

Finally, to give me an idea of how many calendars I will need to print, can we do an infamous XPF LIST.

Many thanks.

Martin Honey
